NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 3-year-old boy who was taken from a Manhattan playground on Thursday was found safe, police said early Sunday.

Majesty Brown was with his 22-year-old mother at McCaffrey Playground, near Ninth Avenue and W. 43rd Street in Hell’s Kitchen, when he was taken around 5 p.m. Thursday.

Police said the boy’s mother had gotten into an argument with her 20-year-old ex-boyfriend, Dale Smith, when he left the park with her son without her permission.

The NYPD released images of the 3-year-old and Smith on Saturday as they searched for the two of them. While the boy was found safe Saturday, police said no arrests had been made. It's unclear if they're still searching for Smith or if he was with the child when he was found.

Police had been looking to question Smith, who they described as: 5'8" tall, with a light complexion, brown eyes, black hair in braids, with tattoo that says "DALE" on his left arm and a tattoo that says "LOYALTY" on his right arm; last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a white shirt, gray jeans and gray sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
