NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Four men in their 20s and 30s were involved in a violent brawl in Midtown, Monday night, police say.
The melee began near Times Square around 36th Street and 8th Avenue and it continued with knives to and 41st and 8th, across Port Authority.
One man brandished a tire iron according to one witness.
"So he take it out and hit this guy very badly like two or three time and at the same time police came and they take out their gun and said 'Stop, stop, get on the ground.'"
According to police, one man ran to 36th Street and Sixth Avenue to call for help.
All four men were taken to Bellevue Hospital and treated for non-life threatening stab wounds.
Police say all four men knew each other, but no word on what caused the melee.
Charges are still pending, officials say.
