NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – An NYPD SUV crashed into a building in Borough Park on Saturday night, injuring five people, including two police officers and two pedestrians, officials said.

Officers were responding to a call in the SUV and had their sirens on when they were hit by a minivan at 51st Street and 13th Avenue, according to ABC7.

Officials say the impact sent the police SUV flying over a curb, where it crashed into two women on a sidewalk and then landed in a storefront.

Citizen App videos taken by witnesses show police and firefighters responding by the smashed SUV as dozens of bystanders watch on.

The two women, two officers in the SUV and the driver of the minivan were all injured, but they are expected to recover.

It’s not known who had the right of way at the time of the crash. No arrests have been reported.
