8 injured, including 10-year-old girl, in Queens house fire

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Eight people were injured, including a 10-year-old girl, in a house fire in Queens on Friday morning, authorities said.

The fire broke out at a two-story home on 35th Avenue, near 64th Street, in Woodside shortly before 1 a.m.

Firefighters arrived to find four people trapped inside the home and screaming for help.

Citizen App video shows flames pouring from windows of the house as firefighters work to get the inferno under control. 

Four residents—three adults and the 10-year-old girl—were injured, authorities said.

Two of the residents were rushed to the burn unit at Weill Cornell Medicine in critical condition.

The 10-year-old girl and a resident in their mid-20s were taken to Elmhurst Hospital.

At least 60 firefighters were at the scene. Four of them suffered minor injuries.
