NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for eight suspects after a teen was beaten and robbed in the Bronx earlier this week.
On September 16, at 6:45 p.m., a 15-year old boy was riding his bicycle in front of 557 East 169 Street, when eight men approached the victim and began to punch him in the face and head, officials said.
The suspects then forcibly removed the teen's bike and fled in an unknown direction.
EMS transported the victim to Bronx Care Health Systems hospital in stable condition where he was treated for pain and bruising.
The victim's bicycle had an estimated value of $500, according to authorities.
Police describe the suspects as men in their late teens to early 20's.
