WASHINGTON (1010 WINS) Coast Guard Lieutenant Christopher Paul Hasson was found by authorities in his Maryland home with firearms, ammunition, and a hit list which included prominent New York politicians and media figures, prosecutors say.

The hit list included Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Chuck Schumer and CNN journalist Chris Cuomo.

Other names on the list were Sens. Cory Booker and Richard Blumenthal, along with MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough.

Prosecutors say he had also written a draft email in which he had described an idea for a biological attack and an attack on the food supply.

Former FBI agent Steve Gomez says Hasson is unique because recently there have been cases of former military members planning attacks, but not active servicemembers.
