HARTFORD, CT (1010 WINS) -- Connecticut’s COVID-19 infection rate dropped to 1 percent on Friday after rising to a “concerning” 1.6 percent on Thursday, Gov. Ned Lamont said.
Of the 13,865 COVID-19 test results that came back in Connecticut on Thursday, 141, or 1 percent, were positive, Lamont tweeted.
Lamont also reported four new COVID-19 deaths, bringing the state’s death toll to 4,492. As of Thursday, 77 people in the state were hospitalized with COVID-19, up by two from Wednesday, he said.
