HARTFORD, CT (1010 WINS) -- Connecticut reported one new COVID-19 death on Friday as the state's positivity rate continued to hover around 1 percent.
The new fatality brought Connecticut’s death toll to 4,432, data from the state’s health department shows.
Of the 15,265 COVID-19 tests that came back on Thursday, 140 were positive, Gov. Ned Lamont said Friday. A total of 49,810 COVID-19 tests in Connecticut have now come back positive, according to health department data.
As of Thursday night, 68 people in the state were hospitalized with COVID-19, up by three from Thursday, Lamont said.
