CORONAVIRUS IN CONNECTICUT: 55 new deaths, 432 new cases; total cases near 40K

HARTFORD, CT (1010 WINS) -- Gov. Ned Lamont reported 55 new COVID-19 deaths and 432 new cases on Friday, bringing the total number of cases in Connecticut close to 40,000.

As of Friday, 39,640 people in the state had tested positive for COVID-19, and 3,637 people had died of complications related to the virus.
