Disney unveils cloth masks, will donate $1M in profits to charity

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Disney unveiled on Thursday their new collection of reusable face masks featuring some of their most beloved characters like Mickey Mouse, Winne The Pooh and Baby Yoda.

The masks follow FDC and CDC issued guidelines and cost $19.99 per four-pack.

In a statement, the company announced that it plans to donate one million cloth masks to “children and families in underserved and vulnerable communities across the U.S."

Through Sept. 30, Disney will also donate up to $1 million in profits from the sales of U.S. cloth masks to Medshare.
