By 1010 WINS

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Hollywood has taken another hit from coronavirus: The much-anticipated "Friends" reunion special from HBO Max was supposed to start filming this month, but it is now delayed because of the potentially-deadly virus, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Filming was supposed to take place March 23 and 24 at the show's former home, Stage 24 at the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank, but now it's been pushed back until at least May, the publication reported.  A formal filming date has not been confirmed.

HBO Max and producers Warner Bros. TV declined to comment on the delay.

The unscripted special will include Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, as well as series creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman.
