NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Funerals were held on Wednesday night for two of the victims in the Jersey City attack on a kosher market.

Mourners of the Jewish Orthodox community surrounded the casket for 33-year-old Leah Mindel Ferencz as it was unloaded in front of the Satmar Shul in Brooklyn, and carried to Bedford Avenue and back.

Her casket was then taken to Khal Adas Greenville on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Jersey City for a second service.

Moshe Hersh Deutsch’s family and hundreds of other mourners filled the streets in Brooklyn at the same shul as Ferencz was to say their goodbyes.

Deutsch’s casket was wrapped by a dark blue and richly adorned drape and placed in front of the synagogue.

Orthodox Jewish men convened around the coffin while dressed in their traditional full black suit and hats.

Deutsch's funeral was followed by a procession with his casket carried down the block.

Family members gathered while crying and speaking Yiddish words while speakers would repeat them for others to hear.

Both Ferencz and Deutsch will be buried in Monroe, NY.
