NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 30-year-old man was killed and five other people were wounded in an early morning shooting in Brooklyn on Wednesday, police said.
A 25-year-old woman and 19-year-old man were both shot in the buttocks; a 19-year-old man was shot in the back; and a 35-year-old man was shot in the arm, police said.
Two victims were taken to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, while two other victims were taken to Kings County Hospital. All of them were in stable condition, according to police.

A 52-year-old woman who was shot in the leg and a 39-year-old man who was shot in the torso also arrived at Kings County Hospital by private means, according to police.
The 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the 52-year-old woman was in stable condition.
The man who was killed has not been identified.
The shooting is part of a wave of gun violence that has hit the city in recent weeks, with 17 shooting victims—including at least one fatality—across the city on Monday alone.
