Man stabbed in neck in Riverside Park on Upper West Side

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was stabbed in the neck in Riverside Park in Manhattan late Thursday night, police say.

A 59-year-old man was stabbed inside the park near 84th Street and Riverside Drive in the Upper West side at about 11:30 p.m. after an argument developed between him and his attacker, according to authorities.

Police took a 34-year-old man into custody and charges are pending against him.

The victim was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital in critical but stable condition.
