NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Feel like taking a nap?
Well, today you've got an excuse because Monday is "National Napping Day."
For some of us, it comes as we still feel out of it from having to change the clocks over the weekend.
National napping day was actually founded in 1999 by Dr. William Anthony, a Boston University professor, and his wife, Camille, in an effort to overcome the prejudice against napping in this country.
Research from NASA actually shows that a 40 minute nap can improve your alertness by 100 percent.
