NYPD hunting for man in Lower East Side switchblade stabbing

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage Monday of a suspect in a stabbing that occurring on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

The attack occurred on Sept. 29 at about 6:40 p.m. in front of 197 Madison Street.

The 44-year-old victim was involved in a dispute with another man.

The man then punched the victim in the face and then stabbed the victim with a switchblade several times in the back.

The victim managed to walk to the New York Download Hospital where he was in serious but stable condition.

Police are continued to investigate.
