PARKLAND, Fla. (1010 WINS) – Survivors of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School released an unsettling video on the second anniversary of the shooting as they seek to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

The 6-minute video “(Take Action) Not Sides!” was a collaboration between two current students and Broadway performer and choreographer Kelli Gautreau, NBC Miami reported.

It includes interviews with survivors and siblings Kyle and Mya Laman, as well as their mother Marie Laman, who recount the chilling events of Feb. 14, 2018, when 17 students and faculty members were killed.

“I’m not very mentally good,” Kyle Laman says in the video as he shows a scar on his right leg where he was shot.

The piece also includes a reenactment of the shooting by the dance group Dancing 4 Change.
