'Saturday Night Live' announces host, musical guest for Oct. 3 season opener

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Chris Rock will host the "Saturday Night Live" season 46 premiere on Oct. 3, the NBC show announced on Thursday. 

The musical guest will be Megan Thee Stallion.

Rock was an "SNL" cast member from 1990 to 1993. He subsequently hosted the show in 1996 and 2014.
