NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The long-awaited series finale of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” airs Sunday night and a survey from The Workforce Institute at Kronos found almost 11 million workers are planning on playing hooky the next morning.

Even many of those who plan on showing up say they’ll be less productive and spend hours of worktime reading about the episode.

Approximately 34 percent of people say they’ll be watching to see who ends up on the Iron Throne.

The survey found 7.3 million people have already begged out of work the day after a previous Thrones episode.

The penultimate episode received record ratings, pulling in over 18.4 million viewers, in spite of polarizing reviews.
