Man allegedly threatened to kill Nancy Pelosi in coronavirus rant

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A Texas man was arrested after he allegedly threated to kill House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, reportedly after accusing the California representative of being in a satanic cult and trying to include funding for abortion in the $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus bill.

Gavin Weslee Blake Perry, a 27-year-old from Wichita Falls, was charged with transmitting a threatening communication in interstate commerce, the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas said Thursday. He faces up to five years in prison.

Perry allegedly wrote Monday in a Facebook post that Pelosi “is apart of a satanic cult and so are the people who work closly with her. Dems of the establishment will be removed at any cost necessary and yes that means by death.”

According to the New York Post, Perry's Facebook post included a link to an anti-abortion story that accused Pelosi of trying to include abortion funding in the stimulus bill.

Perry also allegedly posted a screenshot of a tweet by Sen. Chuck Schumer along with: “If youre a dem or apart of the establishment in the democrats side I view you as a criminal and a terrorists and I advise everyone to Go SOS and use live rounds.”

During his arrest, Perry told law enforcement that the account belonged to him and that he was wanted to warns Americans about the “tyrannical” government, authorities said. He also allegedly said the officers were violating his First Amendment rights and that he planned to bond out of jail and refuse to come to court.
