That's right: The Kentucy Derby kicks off Saturday, but a main draw is not necessarily the horses -- it's the parties that are held Friday night,
The Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby Eve Gala is one of the hottest tickets in town. Held at a private home, the guest list this year includes Tom Brady, Richie Sambora, Dennis Quaid, Wilmer Valderrama, and Tanya Tucker.
There's also the Trifecta Gala, held at the KFC Yum Center, at which Usher will perform. Guests expected include Steve Harvey, Vivica Fox and Nene Leakes.
And then there's the Unbridled Eve Derby Gala, which will include performances by Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath and Kool & the Gang's Skip Martin.
