NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Taylor Swift celebrated Pride Month Friday night with a surprise performance at the Stonewall Inn.

The singer showed up at the historic West Village bar to perform her hit “Shake It Off.”

Actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson joined her on stage for an acoustic performance of the hit song as part of AEG's Pride celebration.

“I’m so happy I don’t have to keep this secret any longer. Look who came to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stonewall at the Stonewall Inn. @taylorswift13, you are a gem. Thank you for everything you do for the LGBTQ community,” Ferguson posted on Twitter.

Swift released her new tune Thursday called "You Need to Calm Down,'' where she calls out those who attack the LGBTQ community. The song is the second single from Swift's seventh album "Lover,'' which will be released Aug. 23.

Fans spotted Swift entering and leaving the bar, which is marking the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall uprising that sparked the modern LGBTQ rights movement. Ferguson is working on a documentary about the bar.
