NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- "Who's The Boss" is coming back.
A sequel of the sitcom, which ran on ABC from 1984 to 1992, is in development at Sony Pictures Television, Deadline reported Tuesday afternoon.
And brace yourselves: Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano will reprise their roles as father-daughter duo Tony and Samantha Micelli -- but the show will take place 30 years after the original series.
And it gets better: The show will be set in the same Connecticut house as the original series.
In the sequel, Samantha is a single mom living in that house, dealing with the emotional rollercoaster of being a mom with a prying dad.
As for Judith Light -- who played Angela Bower, the high-powered Manhattan exec Tony initially worked for as a housekeeper -- the report says she is "supportive" of the project and that there is a hope she can be involved with the reboot. The same goes for Danny Pintauro, who played Angela's son.
The original show's other fan favorite, Katherine Helmond, who played Angela's mom Mona, died in February 2019.
