Driver sought after teen boy struck in NJ hit-and-run

EWING, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that struck and injured a 19-year-old pedestrian in New Jersey on Wednesday.

A black sedan struck the teen near the Olden Avenue intersection with Prospect Street around 7:30 p.m. before driving off, Lt. Jeffrey Jacobs said.

The vehicle fled on Olden Avenue toward Parkside Avenue.

Responding officers discovered the victim lying in the road with head injuries.

He was taken to Capital Heath Regional Medical Center to be treated and is in stable condition, police said.
