NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Geraldo Rivera on Friday suggested naming a COVID-19 vaccine after President Donald Trump as a "nice gesture," as the virus continues to spread across the country.

"With the world so divided and everybody telling him he’s got to give up and time to leave and... time to transition and all the rest of it, why not name the vaccine 'The Trump?'" Rivera said on the Fox & Friends morning. “Make it like, ‘Have you got your ‘Trump’ yet?’”

Trump has refused to concede the election but Rivera said that he has been in contact with him since the Nov. 3 and claimed he will eventually come to terms with the reality of his defeat.
