NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An attacker shoved a 29-year-old man onto the subway tracks at a Brooklyn station in an incident that was caught on surveillance video, the NYPD said.

The 29-year-old man was on a northbound 4 train en route to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center around 11:25 a.m. on Sunday when a man he didn’t know started yelling at him, police said.

When the train pulled into the station, the 29-year-old got off the train, the NYPD said. Not long after, the man who had been yelling at him approached him and shoved him off the platform onto the southbound tracks, police said.

The 29-year-old managed to pull himself back onto the platform, and refused medical attention, the NYPD said. His attacker fled the scene and hadn’t been arrested as of Monday, police said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
