Buffalo, NY (WBEN) After being closed for five months, bowling centers in New York will get to reopen Monday.

"Bowling alleys will be allowed to open, with 50 percent occupancy and you must have a face covering," says Governor Cuomo. "Every other lane must be closed, and the parties stay with their party at the lane they're bowling on."

Cuomo says centers must have cleaning and disinfecting protocols, especially with shared and rented equipment.

He adds no bellying up to the bar. "You're at a lane, you're bowling, they come to you, You don't go to a concession, you don't go to a bar to order food and alcohol," says Cuomo.
