NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Rail service along New Jersey Transit's North Jersey Coast Line was suspended in both directions between the Long Branch station and New York's Penn Station early Tuesday morning due to a train derailment.

The North Jersey Coast Line's train 3292 experienced a derailment around 12:20 a.m. near the Woodbridge Station, NJ Transit wrote on Twitter.

NJ Transit Police said service between the two stations is expected to be suspended through the peak morning commute.

None of the seven passengers or crew members on the train were hurt, officials said.
