Over 76 people discovered at illegal bottle club at Queens yellow zone, 5 organizers charged

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The New York City Sheriff discovered over 76 people partying at an illegal bottle club located in a coronavirus hot zone in Queens on Thanksgiving.

At approximately 1:15 a.m., officials spotted an unconscious person outside of the illegal establishment located at 40-15 Junction Boulevard in the Jackson Heights neighborhood.

Fve organizers charged with offenses., the city sheriff tweeted on Friday.

"Deputy Sheriffs shut down illegal bottle club @ 40-15 Junction Blvd, Queens (Yellow Zone) access via rear alley: 76+ people, violation of emergency orders, barricaded egress, no liquor license, unconscious patron outside, 5 organizers charged with offenses," the tweet said.
