Trump threatens 'to leave the country' if he isn't re-elected

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Bruce Springsteen and Tommy Lee aren't the only ones threatening to leave the U.S. if the election doesn't turn out their way.

While the musicians say, in a bit of jest, that they'll leave the country if President Trump is re-elected, he joked himself at a Georgia rally Friday that he'll have to head elsewhere if he isn't re-elected.

"Because you know what," he told supporters at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport in Macon, "running against the worst candidate in the history of presidential politics puts pressure on me."

"Could you imagine if I lose? My whole life, what am I going to do? I'm going to say I lost to the worst candidate in the history of politics. I'm not going to feel so good. Maybe I'll have to leave the country, I don't know."

The Macon rally is one of several planned for this week as Trump significantly ramps up campaigning. And it comes one day after his NBC town hall, during with he sparred with moderator Savannah Guthrie.
