NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Brooklyn warehouse party with hundreds of people was busted Halloween morning for violating COVID emergency orders, police said.
NYC Sheriff deputies shut down the illegal party inside a warehouse at 23 Meadow St. in East Williamsburg around 1 a.m. Saturday.
The Sheriff’s Office said the party had more than 387 people and was shut down for violating the state emergency orders for COVID.
A photo from inside the warehouse shows only some of the partiers wearing masks and none social distancing.
Nine organizers of the party were charged with multiple misdemeanors, including health and alcohol offenses, authorities said.
