Cardi B is making her return to reality TV. Yeah, that’s right, remember back in 2016, when we were free to leave the house without fear and masks were strictly reserved for Burning Man? Well that’s also when Cardi was making us laugh and become obsessed with her on VH1's Love & Hip-Hop.
Listen to your favorite music now on RADIO.COM.
Fast forward, now almost 5 years later, Cardi’s still making us laugh and also become even more obsessed with her with her new Messenger series, Cardi Tries.
On the show, the “WAP” rapper is showing us her boss lady ways taking her turn trying out various activities outside of her comfort zone. For instance, she’ll try stunt-car driving with Michelle Rodriguez and Bri Lynch, sushi-making with Yamashiro head chef Vallerie Archer, and ranching with Country singer Mickey Guyton, to name a few.
On the December 17 series premiere, Cardi’s first endeavor was to practice ballet with renowned dancer, choreographer, actress, and director Debbie Allen. And the result was, well… everything you’d imagine and hope for it to be.
As seen in the show’s trailer Allen asks Cardi, ”Have you done ballet before?” She replies, ”I used to be a stripper.”
Cardi Tries will debut a new episode every Thursday until February 4, with fans able to enjoy the show in real-time over video calls with friends on Instagram, Messenger, and Messenger Rooms.
Here, check out another brief clip of what to expect and then go find the episode and watch it.
