This winter the Jonas Brothers are serving us the virtual concert we’ve all needed and because of it’s virtual nature, viewers will actually get to participate in moments of the show.
On December 3, JoBro fans will be able to welcome the brothers into their homes and watch the live performance while also calling all the shots. Fans will create Nick, Joe, and Kevin’s setlist in real-time via a live comment section that will run during the concert. Customized hashtags will also be available. When a viewer shoots off one of these hashtags the viewer will experience visuals created just for the concert, on their screens. Fans will also get to choose which camera angle they are watching from and be able to save and share moments from the show to social media.
The Jonas Brothers are working in partnership with Lenovo and Intel Evo to create this fully immersive experience. In a statement about the upcoming show, the brothers shared with Billboard, “We always say this but we truly have the best fans and we’ve been looking out for opportunities to get them creatively involved. The Lenovo partnership is a way for us to work with them on a new level, as they will have direct input into an upcoming immersive experience -- from helping design merchandise to curating our setlist. With artist’s tours currently on hold, we are looking forward to getting back together to perform and providing a little extra happiness during the holiday season.”
Before the show kicks off this December both Lenovo and Intel Evo are looking for fans and artists who can create original artwork to be utilized as the limited edition concert poster for the virtual show plus visuals and merch. Art can be submitted on the Lenovo Yoga Creators Contest page. Submissions close on October 30 and the winners will be updated on November 6.
Winners of the Jonas Brothers art contest will also receive a Lenovo Yoga laptop featuring personalized signatures from the Jonas Brothers. Additionally, select winners will win the opportunity to live video chat with Nick, Joe, and Kevin prior to the virtual show.
The Jonas Brothers could not have chosen a more perfect time to serve us with the holiday surprise we’ve all needed. We know the virtual show is sure to lift the spirits of so many adoring fans.
