In a press conference call with reporters on Monday, Hamilton let everyone know what he's been up to.

Hamilton said he's been making up for lost time with his girls and being a dad.

He also said he thinks about playing and some mornings wakes up and thinks he can DH, but otherwise doesn't watch or follow baseball much anymore.

Josh said that he splits his time between his home in Tarrant County and his ranch, somewhere around College Station.

He said he's still continuing to win the battle with addiction.

In typical Josh Hamilton fashion, he was answering questions somewhere in between Dallas and College Station sitting on the tailgate of his truck. @BenRogers @SkinWade @ktfuntweets
