DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys owner Jerry Jones admitted Thursday that he's considering bringing back wide receiver Dez Bryant for the 2020 season.

Jerry Jones has not talked to Dez Bryant directly, but “I have been thinking about it a lot in the shower.”“It should not be dismissed. I’m thinking about it.”

Jones told reporters, including David Helman of DallasCowboys.com, that he hasn't spoken to Bryant, but "I have been thinking about it a lot in the shower." Jones added that "it should not be dismissed" and "I’m thinking about it.”

Bryant has posted work out videos to social media in an effort to prove he's capable of returning to the NFL. He even recently spent time catching passes from Super Bowl LIV MVP Patrick Mahomes.

Bryant sat out the entire 2019 season after his first comeback attempt was railroaded when he suffered a torn Achilles in his first practice after signing with the New Orleans Saints.

The 31-year-old has already expressed a desire to return to the Cowboys this offseason, saying on social media that he had reached out to Cowboys COO Stephen Jones.
Bryant has the backing of at least one of his former teammates as defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence said last month that the Cowboys should "give him a shot."

This is a developing news story.
