Rangers Option Jose Trevino, Luke Farrell To Alternate Training Site

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Texas Rangers optioned catcher Jose Trevino and reliever Luke Farrell to the club's alternate training site on Thursday.

The club made the moves in order to comply with MLB's roster regulations for the 2020 season, which required teams to reduce their rosters from 30 to 28 players.

Trevino has appeared in two games this season, hitting .225 with a walk and an RBI.

Farrell has a 13.50 ERA in 3.1 innings of work out of the Rangers bullpen.
