PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – There is no questioning what former Penn State star Stefan Wisniewski thinks about the Big 10 deciding not to play football in the fall.

“The Big 10 is going to look really stupid for not playing,” Wisniewski said Friday.

This was part of a longer statement as Wisniewski tried to measure what he said so he wouldn’t put himself out there too much.

“I love Big 10 football,” Wisniewski added.  “I love Penn State.  I don’t know how to say this without offending lots of people.  I’m really sad and really disappointed.  I really think they should play.”

As the veteran Steelers guard proceeded, you could feel the emotion growing in his voice.

“They should be playing and I’m really mad that they’re not.”

Wisniewski then pondered not having his favorite college football league as he discussed it with local reporters.

“I’m sad, mad and disappointed in Big 10 leadership that the SEC, ACC and Big 12 are going to play and probably be fine and the Big 10 is going to looking really stupid for not playing.”

Wisniewski then said, “I’ll stop before I get myself in trouble.”

Not sure if he’s in trouble, but point made.
