Texas A&M 20, LSU 7: Tigers suffer 4th loss of the season


LSU suffered its fourth loss go the season Saturday night in College Station where the Tigers fell 20-7.

Texas A&M scored first on a 41-yard field goal attempt from Seth Small. The kick capped a seven-play, 41-yard drive that started when the Aggies stopped LSU on a fourth-and-2.

The Aggies stretched their lead to 10-0 with 16 seconds to play in the first quarter when Isaiah Spiller broke loose for a 52-yard touchdown run.

Spiller finished the first 125 yards rushing which account for more than half of the Aggies 223 total first half yards

LSU appeared to score when TJ Finley found Kayshon Boutte in the end zone early in the second quarter but the completion was overturned. On the very next play Finley had a pass intercepted by Jaylon Jones.

Just before the half, Texas A&M got a 40-yard field goal from Small to make it 13-0.   
Texas A&M took a 20-0 lead in the third quarter when Buddy Johnson returned an interception 15 yards for a score.

LSU got on the board with 38 seconds to play in the game when Max Johnson completed a 3-yard touchdown pass to Terrace Marshall Jr.
