Cowboys' Awuzie out multiple weeks with hamstring injury

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys cornerback Chidobe Awuzie will be out multiple weeks with a hamstring injury, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy announced Wednesday.

Awuzie suffered the injury at some point in the Cowboys 40-39 come-from-behind win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

The injury leaves the Cowboys very thin at the cornerback position as Anthony Brown was placed on injured reserve before Sunday's game against Atlanta. Jourdan Lewis, Daryl Worley and C.J. Goodwin are the next men up.
