Texans to bring in safety Earl Thomas for a visit

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) -The Houston Texans are bringing in free agent safety Earl Thomas for a visit, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported Monday.

Thomas has yet to receive a workout from a team after being released by the Baltimore Ravens on Aug. 23. His release came just days after he punched a teammate during practice and was abruptly sent home.

The Cowboys secondary was torched once again in Sunday's 38-31 loss to the Seahawks. However, COO Stephen Jones said today on 105.3 The Fan that they aren't looking to bring in any reinforcements to the secondary at this time.

Shan and RJ discussed why it's time for Jerry Jones to pick up the phone and call Earl Thomas on Monday's show. It appears that they're running out of time.
