DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks are on their way to Charlotte and their game vs the Hornets on Wednesday night is set to be played as scheduled, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

Stein reports that the Mavs are expected to have 12 players available to them for the game. League rules mandate that teams must have at least eight players available in order to play.

According to the latest injury report released by the team on Tuesday afternoon, Dwight Powell, Dorian Finney-Smith, Jalen Brunson, Josh Richardson and Maxi Kleber have all been ruled out for tomorrow's game in accordance with the league's Health and Safety Protocols.

According to Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News, two more Mavericks players tested positive for the COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the team's total number of positive tests to four.

Finney-Smith, Brunson and Richardson entered the league's covid protocol on Jan. 8. Two days later, Maxi Kleber entered the protocol after his test came back positive following the team's 112-98 win over the Magic.

The Mavs were set to return to the floor Monday night against the Pelicans but the NBA postponed the game while they continued contract tracing within the organization.
