A record-setting TV audience watched Washington demolish Dallas on Thanksgiving

A record-setting 30.3 million viewers tuned in to watch the Washington Football Team ruin Thanksgiving dinner for fans of the Dallas Cowboys last week.

According to NFL reporter Mark Maske, FOX's Washington-Dallas telecast on Thanksgiving Day averaged 30.3 million viewers, making it the single most-watched television broadcast since February's Super Bowl LIV between the Chiefs and 49ers. It was also the NFL's most-watched telecast of the entire 2020 season.

Washington-Dallas overshot the 12:30 p.m. Texans-Lions broadcast on CBS by approximately seven million viewers, per John Ourand.

If the 41-16 shellacking was the main course for Washington fans, then dessert has finally been served.
