GREEN BAY, WI-- The Green Bay Packers have had one of the worst punt/kick return games in the NFL this season. To help out with those struggles, the green and gold have made a change in their returner position.

#Packers claimed RB/returner Tyler Ervin, after he was released by the #Jaguars to make roster space for former Packers linebacker Jake Ryan, coming off IR, reported by NFL Network. #Packers announce this hour they have released CB/returner Tre Smith today.

Tyler Ervin played college ball at San Jose State and has been a member of the Texans and Jaguars in his four-year NFL career. He averages 8.3 yards per return in his career in the NFL.

Former Packer returner Trevor Davis was waived by the Oakland Raiders today as well.

The Raiders have waived WR Trevor Davis, per source. He was acquired via a trade from the Packers earlier this season.
