The conclusion to Saturday night’s epic World Series Game 4 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays was one for the ages, leaving everyone’s jaw hitting the floor.

Among those who were especially wowed by the Rays’ 8-7 walk-off win was none other than Alex Rodriguez, whose reaction to the ending of the game was, well, unique.

As the ball got by catcher Will Smith to allow Randy Arozarena to safely dive into home plate to seal the win for the Rays, Rodriguez jumped out of his chair in the Fox Sports studio screaming and waving his arms around. He then removes his mic and earpiece and lays down on his back on top of the studio desk while kicking his feet up into the air.

The unusual celebration appeared to leave the rest of the Fox studio – Frank Thomas, David Ortiz and Kevin Burkhardt – in stitches over the whole thing.

The game was an instant classic -- with both teams going back and forth throughout the whole game. The Dodgers were one out away from going up 3-1 in the series before closer Kenley Jansen walked Arozarena to set up first and second with Brett Phillips at the plate.

Phillips, the unlikely hero, laced a base hit into center field to tie the game, but the ball was booted by Chris Taylor and Arozarena rounded third to go for the win.

The throw into home plate was cut off by Max Muncy, who relayed the ball to Smith, but Smith attempted to stab and swipe home plate, thinking Arozarena was there and missed the ball.

Arozarena had stumbled down the third base line, but was able to get up and dive across the plate to end the game and even the series at two games apeice.

Once things settled down and the postgame show began, Rodriguez offered his insight into the Rays’ victory.

“They are so good, they are relentless,” Rodriguez said. “Four home runs in a row in back-to-back innings. Then the at-bat, I gotta tell you, the hustle, the way Arozarena – just the way he did that, Papi, it was just unbelievable.”

It certainly left Rodriguez in an out-of-body experience of sorts, and his celebration went viral, naturally, even if it was a little bit cringeworthy.
