During the COVID-19 pandemic, stay-at-home orders have become work-from-home orders.
Personal Finance website, WalletHub used 12 key metrics to find what states are the best work-from-home states. Some factors include internet cost and cybersecurity.
North Dakota has the lowest price of electricity, around 9 cents per kilowatt… which is 3 and a half times lower than Hawaii’s almost 32 cents.
New Hampshire has the highest internet subscribers at 78 percent.
And South Dakota has the lowest cyber crime per 100,000 residents.
Overall, WalletHub found the best states to work from home are New Hampshire, Washington and coming in at #1, Delaware. The worst state, Alaska. South Carolina was nestled in the middle of the pack, coming in at #28.
