Boeing to Deliver PPE

Three planes stocked with PPE are set to land in Charleston this afternoon. 

Governor Henry McMaster, the Medical University of South Carolina, members of the Congressional Delegation and other local officials will welcome three of Boeing's Dreamlifter aircraft filled with Personal Protective Equipment at 12:30pm for COVID-19 response efforts.   

Additionally, members of South Carolinas Protection and Resources components, part of accelerateSC, will meet today in Columbia. 

Meetings will be held at 10:00am and 1:30pm and will be streamed live on SCETV's website

accelerateSC serves as the coordinated COVID-19 advisory team to consider and recommend economic revitalization plans for South Carolina.
