COVID-19 case confirmed in Simpsonville.

A Home Depot employee has tested positive for Coronavirus, confirmation came Tuesday.

That employee is in quarantine and Home Depot is actively cleaning and disinfecting the Fairview Road store.

Margaret Smith with Home Depot says a Coronavirus response team is in place and working closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. 

Employees that feel ill have been asked to stay home according to news outlets. 

Paid expanded leave has been offered for full and part time employees. 80 hours for full time, 40 hours for part time.​

Home Depot has been closing all it's stores at 6pm daily in response to Coronavirus.
