Schools across Greenville have been closed all week, but Greenville County Schools is working to feed students across the district despite these school closures.

There are 15 locations across the district for students to pick up meals, which have been open since Monday. Additionally, 42 mobile feeding sites also opened Thursday.

Over 10,000 meals were distributed to Greenville students Thursday alone, almost one and a half times the roughly 7,000 meals distributed each day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Greenville County Schools also announced that this initiative will continue to grow, with plans to open 24 more mobile feeding sites starting Monday, March 23.
