If you’re feeling the itch to move, but worry about what you’ll do to make money, or a recent graduate needing a job…. WalletHub has done some research for you.
As of this moment, unemployment is at a 50 year low and according to the personal-finance website, employers are looking to hire.
WalletHub compared over 180 cities to find “2020’s Best Places to Find a Job.”
For starters, South Burlington Vermont, has the lowest unemployment rate, but the highest monthly starting salary can be obtained in San Jose California at about $6,000 a month.
Plano Texas had the fewest part-timers for every 100 full time employees, but head west to Gilbert, Arizona and the median annual household income is around $89,000 a year.
Charleston made the top 20 of “2020’s Best Places to Find a Job” coming in at #16. Our states capital Columbia came at #119.
Worst place for a job according to WalletHub… Detroit where unemployment is at 9% Followed by Fayetteville, NC and Newark, NJ.
The Best place to find a job in 2020… Scottsdale, Arizona, where the average temperature in July is about 105 degrees. Coming in #2, South Burlington, Vermont followed by San Francisco, California.
