Greenville County heading into summer fun slowly.

After months of shut-down due to Coronavirus, Greenville County has reopened Parks and Playgrounds.

According to the Greenville County Rec website, Fields and Picnic Shelters will be open to the public May 31st.  Building rentals will resume with a limit of 50 people per room.

Youth sports practices will be allowed without spectators other than one parent or guardian.  Social distancing signs will be posted, bleachers closed in order to adhere to social distancing and water fountains will not be available.

Water parks are set to open June 15th in addition to day camps offered at Community Centers.  Capacity would be restricted by CDC and DHEC guidelines.

As of right now, no date has been set as to when Rec Leagues can resume.
